Cash advance

0

In the world of credit cards there are still vendors which requiring immediate cash payments. Yes after all you went through to get a credit card, they still want cash. It is almost useless to take out a small loan to pay a vendor; this really does not make sense. We can however use our credit card facility, where we can withdraw this amount in cash and is charged on the balance in the credit card.

This is similar to using your debit card at an automated banking machine (ABM) instead we are just using our credit card to do so. You can withdraw only up to the current cash advance limit. Banks usually set their own limit for cash advance to protect customers.

Cash advance is charged at a higher rate that using the credit card to make a purchase. This usually includes interest and other finance charges such as a cash withdrawal fee. It makes more sense to ensure that all options of attaining cash are useful.

When cash advance is needed, it is because the money is needed almost immediately. People fail to realize that a credit card is a credit facility that has to be repaid and its not money withdrawn with your ABM card which is linked to your savings account. Therefore we should handle cash advance in a very skeptical way such as using cash advances for only emergencies, take out only what you need and avoid other purchases until the cash advance is finally paid.
